Need insurance cover for one day

A friend of mine died recently, his wife doesn't drive and wants to sell their car to webuyanycar.com. She has asked me to drive the car to their local office which is only about four miles away. However the insurance on the car has been cancelled following my friend's death.
I asked my own insurers if I would be OK to drive the car on my policy and they said no, the other car would need to be insured in its own right.
Can anyone suggest a way this could be arranged. I would want full-comprehensive cover because Sod's Law decrees that something bad would happen if I only had 3rd. party cover.
