(Late) Direct debits - Liverpool Victoria

Anyone else had any LV DDs taken a week later than normal? I thought the DD guarantee meant that payments should always get taken on the same day (if a non working day). Normally mine get taken on the 1st - this month the 9th.

Has this happened to anyone (again) this month?

This time a couple of letters received to confirm that they failed to take the payments for the two policies at the beginning of August and will take them at the beginning of September.
