I don't think any one should be sending nasty private messages.

Agreed, wish Dotty would heed that though - the pictures he sends!

Do you have legal protection with your household insurance? Sounds like you might have a case for constructive dismissal, of course if they offer you enough it will be a moot point, but can almost guarantee the first offer will be derisory. I wish I had had legal insurance when I left my last job, that was definitely constructive dismissal!

Yes I do thanks Evangaline But I knew I kind of wasted my opportunity at constructive dismissal when I worked part of my notice BUT I was the only one who knew how to operated the banking and pensions for just over 1000 staff I could not risk some of my staff not getting paid

My letter to the boss was excellent as had loads of input from the insurance company , an independent adviser, a union rep and ACAS

    We will wait and see

How do you get the a's gift card,do they do it automatically for a price error or do you have to give them a nudge so to speak?

just be your normal and very polite self be brave and ask.

If they say no just say OK and then ring Sada HQ CS when you get home and explain - you then get it sent in the post.

On my one and only foray I went to CS and said - oh dear I've just checked my receipt and I am sure x was £1 on the shelf edge label so I've been over charged.

Groucery personal were called for and she started to process a refund and get the money from the till.

so I said do you still give the £2 giftcard and CS said she would check, more phone calls, more CS appeared, paperwork filled and eventually I got my £2 gift card :j
