Just had an email from Danone with £1 off yoghurts and noticed the Activia are 94p for 4 in A

I have not had an email from them since last year but when I clicked on my last one I got the MOC page. This time it said I could have £1 in total - so no freebies.

so I got 2 25p MOC danio pots as I have a !!!!!! points MOC to us. also 50p activia and 50p shape.

I noticed that in the budget too.

My understanding is that for those who are currently non-taxpayers, there is no change. i.e. all your savings will remain tax free when it comes to interest payments.

But for those who do pay tax, then the first £1000 in savings won't be taxed. Anything above will be taxed just like before. Realistically, we're only talking a few quid saving here every year per person (and that's if you're savvy enough to have a high paying interest current account). For those who have their £1000 saving in a bog standard instant access paying 0.1% interest, then we're talking pennies.

I think it is the first £1000 in interest that will not be taxed:

"The Chancellor said that no tax will be deducted on the first £1,000 of interest earned every year on savings from April 2016."

Ah munqui congratulation, what a cutie:)

Snapant have you tried orange peel? My cat hated the smell of it and wouldn't go near, this may help direct them to where you want them to "go"

Well I'm back no longer with long hair... It's now a very nicely cut short style:) just £35 lighter ...
    :)

I got my hairdresser to do a photo of the back of my head on the iphone last time - you never know what the back of your head looks like :rotfl:

how do you people think this would work?

    i purchase 3 x Carlsberg Export (12x275ml) £8
    and 1 x Foster's (10x440ml) £8

at Morrisons, they are on offer for 4 x packs for £20.00

however, the carlsberg is £6.18 at A
and the fosters are not stocked,

Would i be right in thinking that i would get £4.82 in M points?

yes its £1000 in interest but if someone has had ISAs since they first came out they could well be above this amount.

Also we are told to spread our savings out a bit - I've got mine over 4 savings accounts - excel charts are a godsend - but on top of that there are current accounts with interest as well
