A small accountancy glitch which might help someone who is struggling towards the end of the month.
I am with Scottish power, paying by monthly direct debit and I was on a fixed rate tariff that finished at the end of February. So I got all of my figures together but I put off looking at who or what to switch to until the back end of the month.
I decided to stay with Scottish Power and I switched to another tariff on February 20th - only a week before the expiry date of the previous contract.
Today I put metre readings into the system online and noticed that my direct debit payment had not gone out for March 1st so I rang them up. They said that because I had switched so late in the month, the previous direct debit was cancelled, the new direct debit is due to come in on April 1st and my payments had been spread over 11 months instead of 12.
so as I've not paid a electric direct debit for March I am £74.44 richer this month :j
OK I know its not a fortune but its something to bear in mind if you are also about to change your tariff, wait until later in the month - I know some of us are on very tight budgets and the last week in the month the coffers are empty.
Incidentally last week I booked a few days with OH (despite his slovenly habits) and the b and b cost me £75 so I've already spent what I've saved on electric :rotfl:
I think they could be telling porkies mhoc. My DD didn't go out for this month either - and I haven't switched at all! I emailed and they said sorry for error and it will come out again from next month. But, yes, month off. :T“Life moves pretty fast. I wasn't aware of this world when the cobra beers were glitching. I am very new to this.
There seems to be plenty of us about in Sheff, all the triggers are disappearing quickly. S-in-A is a quiet store, well stocked and is a good one for night time wombles
It is. But beware the SAs can be a bit jobsworth at times. They scowl at coupons and make up their own limits. :rotfl:

is everything in the 2 for 1 offer in Ts the same price in Ts?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I thought I'd seen one but can't find it now, I'm useless with the search function!! I've been through the eggs and as far as I can see there are two different Star Wars ones, frozen, scooby doo, marmite, match of the day, thorntons smile and pot noodle which should all trigger. Can anyone see any of these please?? I reckon if it updates as it should and aslong as A don't suddenly end the 3 for £10 we would get 3 eggs plus fillers for £2.70, anyone want to check my maths?!
Maths correct and I agree with all the others0 -

If they don't update on msm until Thursday then we need to wait until Friday but Thursday should be good if new prices are seen on msm tomorrow, HTH
ETA also I would shop after 10am on the safe day because sometimes the morning update can be done late and this is when the change will likely occur
Thank you!
Should have realised really as I think msm scrape T's site in a similar way to A's.
So, same rules as A info.... if it's on msm before early / mid-day then should be onto the apg at that update... just we need to check prices (on msm) as well as multis as the APG won't have T's store price database. :T :rotfl:#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
Morning All,
Aaaah, the snakes, that brings back fond memories, they have been my favourite glitch, £2.70 plus fillers for 24 bottles if I remember correctly.
The problem was finding them as not all my local stores stocked them. I managed to get some from stores further away but I think once word got about the shelves seemed to be empty.
I know I first started to do C&Cs around this time because they were often OOS but would there have been a reason not to order 10 at a time as I’m sure I only ever got a maximum of 4 in each order. I can’t remember how long ago this was but I know I drank my last one when I moved house last summer.
Indeed I would have stocked up more had we been able to find them. Two Christmases ago??
I have a black hole under my stairs which I'm just clearing out and found about a hundred bottles of T vitamin tables - garlic, artichoke and some such - BBE 2010! These were bought back in the day when I first started 'playing' with T. I can't quite recall but there were vouchers for 250 CC points when you bought vitamins - and these were about 14p each. This deal paid for my holiday to China with the (then) 4 x CC Cosmos deals and my friend bought a car from Motorpoint! :T Those were the days.“Life moves pretty fast. Sorry but you are incorrect.
Mixed pricing in the '2 for 1' at Tosco means the APG will not pick up the offer.
The APG will only pick up these offers if everything in that offer is the same price.
edit to add: now if it was 'any 2 for £3' the apg wouldn't mind the individual prices.#CHEEKY :cool:0 -

Goodness knows if we will receive the bonus...sounded much simpler on paper than in reality:(
I've got 11 confirmed, 3 tracked and 1 sent to retailer.
Of the 3 tracked one has no expected payable date (Topman) one has now changed to May (bonmarche) and one has changed to April (clarks)
Maybe we get the bonus in time for this Christmas :mad:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
