Oh !!!!! that reminds me of the magic pens? Anyone remember them? I seem to remember you had to be part of the North East Coven to get one, and I was an honorary member as an exiled Geordie :T

Ive had this conversation before on here and in real life :eek:when printing
MoneySavingExpert.com is in red and no matter what your eyes see if someone at an early age says that is red then whatever colour you see it as it is red to you.
So how does this colour blindness work or is it that you can not differentiate between what I see as red and green for exampleON this website Walter Bodmer gives a Xmas lecture that shows what colourblind people see. You need to register for free.
Sea mammals see one primary colour, land mammals can tell blue from yellow except us fruit-eating vitamin C requiring primates that are trichromats and can tell red from green. dichromats find camouflaged animals more easily. Birds have four types of cones except pigeons who see five so goodness knows what they're all seeing.
In the US they give you a red contact lens for one eye if you're colour blind. I've met several woman (it's 4 in every thousand) who are colour blind. A very few are colour blind in one eye which is why we know what colours they see.
Some women have supercolourvision like birds (four types of cones not three) so the rest of us are all colour-blind compared to them. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Not much change in M, just a bit of tinkering to be done...
So, in M the Swede (approx. 500g) is 49p, the Diced Swede bag (500g) seems to have disappeared so don't know if that would compare and watch out for whether the A Carrots (1Kg) have a price change for M. I'm sure we'll find out fairly soon as someone is bound to buy them on wombles.
The situation is that they have been comparing vs 57p, which was adjusted price for M's 1.2Kg carrots bag. This is outside of the weight range, so it 'should' not have been comparing but it was. Now, however, M no longer has any 1.2Kg carrots; this week's bags are 1Kg. They are same weight as A's, and therefore A's 'should' compare vs M; however I am wondering whether the weight change might mean that they now miss them, when they 'should' pick them up having previously picked up a product outside range when they 'should' have missed them. If the 1Kg carrots compare, I'm expecting them to change from 57p M to 49p M, as the new 1Kg bags are 49p in M. Not as good as what the price comparison when buying 3 was two weeks ago when the 1.2Kg were on 3 for £1.50. (That worked out at 3 for £1.23 M.)
The Parsnips packs (500g) are also 49p in M. However, they have not been comparing on the APG, but maybe they will now, now that they are more prominent in M? Probably not:rotfl:. Apparently we should be buying from Ocado anyway, as on 85p bogo'f' there.
The Liver Bacon Mash is down in price in M, to £1.64, but not as good as it was before which, thank you msm for once:rotfl:, was £1.46. I have Liver Bacon Mash is being a Tvs M item. On Avs M, the Corned Beef Hash might work again, although not as good as before since the offer is now £1.64 rather than £1.46. But be aware that it 'should' not compare as the Corned Beef Hash in M is outside of the weight range. I'm not putting either onto the list, since it's £1.64 rather than £1.46:rotfl:(:wall:).
The Breakfast Mushrooms are off - they have gone up from 39p to 99p. Obviously the 39p was too good a price for them to keep on, so hope you managed to get your stock before!:) Also off - the Sesame Breadsticks (69p in A, which did not compare from A) were 50p in M - now 88p:eek:. The "Free From" Rice Cakes pack (previously buy in M) is off - 50p, now 65p.
The Fish Counter Mussels are off - they've gone up from £2.49/Kg last Wednesday to £3.49/Kg (presumably everyday low price), and the BM Wafer Thin Turkey Ham (250g) is also likely to be off vs M (now £2 in M), if it was ever on in the first place.
I still have lots of wines on my list, and several of them at 'eday prices'. Not sure why, as some of them are £3.49 and £3.99:eek::eek: and really should be removed!! I gather the magic price on wine is £3 a bottle, although my guide price is a lot lower than £1:rotfl:! (That's because I understand that that is how much it costs to make a bottle of wine and, of course, I only like loss leaders.) Fwiw(:rotfl:) - I'm not here to promote this or act as an advertising message for M - there is now a 25% off offer when buying in sixfold:eek:. That would make some of the £3.99 wines just a shade under £3 each; however, having to buy six times over. So, just at the point, when they put that deal on (I did think about M&M vs elsewhere but I think the discount does get taken into account so seems no use there:(), I think about removing them from the list:rotfl:. Really I should only have the Bucks Fizz etc. at 2 for £5 and the two at RTC £2.99 and £1.99 respectively:rotfl:.
The Sausages are most likely up from 79p to £1.19:eek:, though I need not trouble you with the three different sets of pricing in three stores I had earlier. The Kipling Mini Battenbergs are still on; however I can't find them in either of my two main stores - I think the same was true last week however and they did work on the APG so they obviously had them in their stores. No guarantees for continuing though; as anything could go in and out of different Ms at any time.
Shall I tell you I found some evidence of the Sheer Blonde Elixir Oil at £1.50?:rotfl::rotfl: Yes, all of a sudden, a SEL has appeared back for that in one of my main stores (maybe they are checking little stores to pick up the Mini Battenbergs instead:(?:rotfl:) - although no stock at all of the Oil, instead a completely different product - Schwarzkopf hair repair - in its place. Yet the SEL for JF Oil has not been on the display at all for at least three weeks, if not over a month, and it doesn't just appear there now by itself. It must have been some deliberate putting the SEL back there, so maybe they have had some stock of JF Oil back in M in the last few days although gone out of stock again. Let's hope APG has same in their store and picks it up:rotfl::rotfl:. Chance that it will be picked up? Virtually zero but,... you never know! And I thought the Finish d/washers would be N/A vs M as well.
Keep in view the Schwarzkopf Ultime repairs (full details on the list, and bet they won't work:rotfl:) as they are £1.50 RTC in M but on mix and match mbuy in A:D. I think there may be a trigger - but I suspect the appearing item you buy doesn't work vs M:rotfl:. Nonetheless, fwiw, I'll put some non-triggers onto the list.
I think if you managed to get the 4 finger 4 pack Kit Kat bars with 100% extra free then you were quite lucky, as seem to be OOS now but, never know, you may find the odd few in some M or other.
The Bakery Scones are off, and the Tiger Bread has gone from 50p to 2 for £1:(. There are some individual packs of sweets, with Wine Gums:D - no, I made that last bit up, at least for M as I'm not aware of Wine Gums being on offer in M, but some other individual packs on 2 for 90p - no idea if they'll get picked up though and less so on mix and match.
In the store that seems to have both versions of the own brand sausages back up to full price - so maybe they have been more complete than either of the others in that section of the store - I also have Hall's Haggis 454g showing 2 for £3, which would be better with 10% than the old (now apparently gone) special purchase bigger pack in M at straight £3/£2.99. But, only if it picks up M's mbuy, which, given the state of SELs in some of my stores, is anyone's guess.
Finally, one of my stores has not pulled the mbuy off the frozen chips; another does not have the mbuy but has never shown the mbuy on any Monday or Wednesday during the entirety of the offer and the third has removed it. Going by msm (which has got it's info. from the equally reliable m.com:rotfl: - :(I don't trust that: m.com has been out of line with the instore pricing from time to time before), the mbuy no longer on the frozen chips and they've now gone back to straight eday low price so avoid! I'm removing them from Tvs M (hopefully T would have given you 100g per pack more, but offer now off so no longer:().0 -
M French Stick White 75p x2 (+2x 200 'More' points = 400 = 40p) vs A 2 for £1? Hoping compares against A's White Baguette.0

Unfortunately, it's Sheer Blonde Elixir on which the SEL has reappeared. I assume that no longer appears on the APG as it is well OOS on msm? No evidence of any Frizz Ease Elixir for me in M.0
