    Any bird spotters around?

For the past couple of weeks as I've gone down the back lane, I've seen a bird in the sky and I'm trying to identify it. I can't photograph it as it's only visible on the bend and I can't stop the car.

It's striking because it appears motionless in the sky for a while before dilly dallying with the wind. You would think it was suspended by a wire as it can be so still. It's above fields but close to a very large oak tree. It's always on it's own and is quite large. It has an unusual silhouette. Like an angel. I'm thinking a bird of prey. Can anyone give me a clue so I can google it?

Red kite? Kestrel? or possibly a buzzard?

As it hovers so long....my guess woukd be a kestrel?

Just a quick one, I'm down to 3% on me ipad

For anyone who likes posh skin care products, little sis just called me to say she got an email from M&S this afternoon about their beauty products promotion. Until midnight tonight there's 20% off (not sure if it's off everything) their premium skincare and beauty - we've just ordered some Nuxe and Ren products, and when you buy 2 of each range you get a fab gift.

For the Nuxe we ordered 2 of these lip balms (cheapest item in the offer), shower gel OOS, and will get a fab gift bag worth £48 which contains full size products. You need to add the free product to your order so I've added both links.

With the Ren, again it's free gift with 2 products ordered, we ordered the cheapest again ;)

Don't forget TCB / Quidco and you can collect free from store

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/nuxe-rve-de-miel-ultra-nourishing-lip-balm-15g/p/p22172165 - lip balm £7.60, order 2

http://www.marksandspencer.com/your-beautifying-kit/p/p22400068?mfPartNumber=T234338P&carousel=FUNV_RR - don't forget to add this to your basket too

These are the REN links, we ordered the duo and got the Discovery gift bag set free

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/clean-skincare-duo/p/p22378389?mfPartNumber=T234633G&carousel=FUNV_RR - skincare Duo £5.60, order 2

http://www.marksandspencer.com/discovery-bag-gift-set/p/p22400065?mfPartNumber=T233516G&carousel=FUNV_RR - and you need to add this too to get it free.

There are other ranges (search beauty) but I think these are the best value, it's online only and 20% off ends tonight

Nite nite folks, hope this helps

Thank you hampy......I'm doing my best to resist:rotfl:

    Tenth Anniversary
TM a red kite has a forked tail so easy to spot, a beautiful bird, might it be a peregrine falcon or as FC says a buzzard, another that loves to soar :)

Definately a bird of prey, they use least energy to stay above prey then dive, a beautiful sight.
I once saw a sea eagle, thought it was a smaller bird until it got bigger and bigger

Am hoping "lady" the osprey returns to Loch of Lowes near me.
