    *gets off soapbox*

Anyway, g'night everyone. I'm most perturbed that nobody answered my question about postal coupons....you cliquey lot. I can't believe you ignored me! ;)

Also FC, I've never eaten an Udi so I've not experienced the horror

That's because you're on a lot of ignore lists :p

Truly generous people give. That's it. Full stop. Nobody posting about it is asking for a pat on the back, or a high five. Who says that all charity is done in secret?

When someone does a marathon and you sponsor them, is that a secret? ANYONE who does something to help someone else....good for them. At the end of the day, the person receiving said charity doesn't give a bleep if you've mentioned it or not.

and indeed where or who it comes from or even why. I know I wouldn't xxx

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

Another one coming out of lurkdom!

I am in total agreement with FC, that if nobody on here likes them, then why would people who are in the unfortunate position of being in need of having to use a food bank, be any different?

Surely it will be depriving them of something more useful, if they are given a box of UDIs, that they wont eat.

But this conversation has got me thinking!:)
Has anyone tried using the UDIs in some other kind of recipe, like a pudding for instance?

I have one box, which I got to see how much they were in my store, unfortunately they were £2-95

With my one box, I will experiment tomorrow, to see if they will make some kind of base for a pudding!:):)

Maybe others might like to join in the challenge!!

if you mix udis (crumbled) with butter and digestive biscuits they make a half decent and edible cheesecake base
