1.75 x ASDA Butcher's Selection British Easy Carve Beef b...£10.42£10.48
Beef BC is 021771701042 (still q.expensive beef:rotfl:). But, beware: this was from a shop done yesterday so it's very likely the old last Wednesday data.
As this indicates:
1 x Jacob's Flatbreads - Mixed Seeds (150g)£0.98£1.59
Now £1 in M:(.
I thought for a split second I'd forgotten to put the Flatbread items onto the M list - I did and do have the details - but I see it's the 98p price:( vs £1 that is causing me to keep them off.
I'm sure Morries don't stock any Walkers 6 pack crisps:
1 x Walkers Crisps - Cheese & Onion (6x25g)£1.34N/A
1 x Walkers Crisps - Salt & Vinegar (6x25g)£1.33N/A
1 x Walkers Crisps - Roast Chicken (6x25g)£1.33N/A
:rotfl:
However, with A mbuy being picked up -.
Nor do they have any of this Ski yogurt apparently:
1 x Nestle Ski Smooth Low Fat Yogurt - Strawberry & Ra...£0.94N/A
However, given that it's straight £1.68 for one, I think that result was even more :cool::cool:.
This is likely to be Wednesday's data (when they also seemed to have missed the mbuys on the individual Mullers - I didn't have any Mullers on that womble, just being purely factual), so I think this won't be the current data.
On the Crisps, I did see them advertised (in general not specific flavours) - M telling us, in their ad, that they were on "everyday low price £1.50". £1.50?!?:eek: That's a shockingly high price, even for me (the shock that is!). My lowest acceptable comparison, really, would be £1, and even then a 6 pack of crisps, as you know my view, should be at 50p or less. Can't believe people would pay that much for even Walkers crisps. But they regularly nearly do - they regularly get expensive 3 for £4 offers, seeing them buying three times over and paying quite a lot of uplift in addition beyond £1 each:(.
However, as regards that "eday price", it was £1.50 but they were also on 2 for £2:cool:. However, I notice, according to msm, M has now put them up in price to expensive 3 for £4 matching A's, T's and W's current expensive non-offer, so seeing some people buying in M an additional pack and paying them £2 more than before:eek: for that one pack (or a little over 33p more for every pack compared to buying 2 before, and then the full £1 guide price cost of that additional pack that they would not have needed to buy, or would have bought, before the price increase per pack on mbuy pricing saw them...well, being ripped off even more:rotfl:).
As for the lack of comp. on the Crisps (and the Ski, that may be a 'new' item though so maybe that's why) - I wonder what the price collectors actually do - seems like they don't bother with whole shelves! Given that they collect, apparently, in six different stores though, that implies that each of the separate six teams (or maybe subdivisions within that) have all missed them in each store.
Or, maybe, the pricing was so conflicting they just go N/A. I thought clearly £1.50 individual and maybe 2 for £2 though? (Last Wednesday, relevant date.)0 -
Just saw this on fb made me lol

hornetgirl wrote: »I thought this too. Presumably putting ordinary people on benefits into a TV programme wouldn't make for  enough viewing, so it just paints everyone in a bad light. I didn't think the landlords came out of it very well either.
Morning all.
You're exactly right hornetgirl.
When I was doing my development stuff for C4 a couple of years ago, I was told to concentrate on stories from the DM and Sun about people abusing the system and track down those people.
When myself and my director pitched them a different story (about the disappearing coal mining Industry in Cornwall and how it had dessimated the community, left young people with no jobs to look for and nothing to do etc etc) they didn't want to know. We found a struggling estate in the middle of nowhere that had turned itself around with the help of some awesome social workers. They had a basketball team and were reporting crimes rather than the committing them. It was fascinating stuff but they didn't want that.
At times I'm quite ashamed to be a part of TV. I'm very glad that I left and didn't have anything more to do with it.
*takes serious work hat off*

I contacted 3v and had this reply
Thank you for your email and apologize for all the inconveniences caused.
3V cards are being replaced by pay.com and it is probably that take a while to be again in the stores. We are working to resolve it as soon as possible, but maybe the cards will not be able for the next few weeks.
If you have any other queries, please contact us as queries@3vprepaid.com.
This is what I received from Tesco
I have had confirmation from our Area Oakwood Manager Irene that the V3 card is no longer available for them to order therefore it’s the chargeable card that is the alternative on offer.
I am sorry that this is no longer available for you to purchase from our store. If there’s anything else I can help you with please do not hesitate to contact me.
Other shops have them0
