Also found a cucumber in the boot I'd got with my click and collect on Saturday. Lets just say it didn't enjoy being in the boot of the car for two days and was very squishy. My boot now smells nicely of cucumber! :rotfl:

Not been in there for ages, forgot to look for BNI's (not bought any yet). Had to drop DS at FHQ for a group he helps at, and DD decided she wanted to spend her pocket money on a chocolate fix. Ever the bargain hunter she bought herself a large Easter Egg for £1.50 (and I got the free mug!). :rotfl:0 -

apgs are starting to trickle through 1p so far xxxWe are many we are one xxx
So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0 -

Afternoon all
Asset eggs wont work out at £1.35 tomorrow, they finish today and its bigger eggs tomorrow
yup I realise thatjust wondering if I should go and get some tonight.
So the £6 egg will be £3 tomorrow in T, so does that work out at £2.70, and is it twice as big as the ones that are are £1.50 in T just now?
I can never work out APG, I get the T PP and DTDbut get confused at A:o I don't get there often enough to be totally confident with it.
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Good afternoon.
I thought they were doing pretty well on the M comp. On the wombles I've had some mbuys on the own brand soft drinks picked up earlier and even picked up a 2 for 85p on the low calorie tonic water. I then noticed two other soft drinks on the comp. did not pick up mbuy between them:(. Not relevant as to which, as cheaper vs T in 3s anyway.
Another warning not to rely on "---" for M on msm, this came out earlier though it could be last Wednesday or could be current:
1 x ASDA Extra Power Pain Reliever Caplet Tablets (16)£0.54£2.00:eek::rotfl:
However it does compare 54p vs 55p T or S. Not sure why anyone would be getting such cheap pain relief tablets in the first place:laugh:.
SP Frozen baguette loses out vs M:
2 x ASDA Smartprice Frozen Garlic Baguette (170g)£0.56£0.68
However, it is vs N/A everywhere else, including it's a good SP item vs Sains.!:rotfl::rotfl: Only need one at 28p.
They've had the Sesame Italian Breadsticks N/A vs M:
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Sesame Italian Breadsticks (125...£0.69N/A:(
M's Italian Breadsticks (they are Sesame) at 50p. I think this, sadly, is a case where I pick up things better than they do:(.
This did compare vs M:
1 x ASDA Smartprice Breaded Chicken Burger (8 per pack...£0.97£0.97
Maybe current, maybe last Wednesday. It's vs T in any event.
I couldn't resist checking this:
2 x Benecol Yogurt Drink - Peach & Apricot (6x67.5g)£6.00£7.56
I notice it says "---" M on msm. However, I see that, from other flavours that are on msm for M, they are 2 for £6.56. Seems a very strange price - :idea:ah, they are "buy 2 save £1". So :(they haven't factored the "save £1" into it. That womble gave a small offer of an APG (the M comp.was the 'winner'), it would have been somewhat more had that compared to the M mbuy! Vs T or W at 2 for £6. I'm not sure why you would.
Also this, on both receipts:(:
1 x ASDA Smartprice Sausages (20 per pack - 907g)£0.99N/A
I notice M Savers product, as pictured on msm, is 20 pack and 1Kg so is within the weight range. The bags say "Thick Sausages" though. Whereas A's don't use the word "Thick". Yet, they must be nearly quite thick due to the number and weight! Should be £1.067 on weight adjustment (M is £1.10 but is for 1Kg) and then 10% cheaper would be about 96p - so, another 3p lost (according to me). £1.10:eek: for 1Kg - not my price - I remember when they were £1.
I initially thought they were doing well on mbuys, but now it seems just as dodgy as it ever is.
Be typical if the cheaper Breadsticks (49p:( in A, so couldn't give much APG) compare vs M but the 69p Sesame ones don't - to be honest, I thought the Sesame ones might be the more risky of the two.0
