As for my own shopping - doing rather well, as usual. Had a total of about £8 APG across two sep. shops - I'm going down the 'buy one egg at a time at full £5' route and compare vs T at £1.50. Yesterday I bought the Mars & Friends egg, as highest weight I could see among the comparing items:D:D - today I've gone for the Teasers at 23p straight more expensive:eek:, on weight adjustment according to msm - that's what the weight costs people on A's straight pricing, as I prefer that to the Marvellous Creations and don't want two Mars & Friends ones:cool:. (I suspect the extra weight is due to the 51g Mars bars though - but really quite a rip-off:rotfl: as they are only worth 6.25p each on T's 4 pack 25p price recently.)

All numbers matched on a.com and msm and I do not believe there is a trigger - however 10% off T's £1.50 pricing is extremely good. Cost is £1.35 each, making two £2.70. All it would be, if there was a trigger, is three eggs for the same cost as two (£2.70) which, yes, you could then have divided by 3 to say the eggs were each cheaper - however any trigger might not have been as large as the large eggs in the deal but could have been one of those small 85g:( ones, so it would be hardly have been that great if had it been available. Best just going vs T's price, as that's a very good price!

Now, when did I last buy Yazoo Vanilla milkshake?:rotfl:

I saw the price of 50p was still on them today and, after initially thinking maybe it's one too far, I did go for it - but used the bread I needed and a banana as distraction items. So that obviously I didn't know I was being overcharged at the time. CS was a different one from last time, but I've seen her before - will have to wait at least a year now before any further misprices with her! I thought I'd then use my last GC but increase my stake to £4, so that I could do a cereal bars Morries shop with filler items. Got another £2 GC no problem. It's the Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes I really want:rotfl::D. So, quite a good day so far. Useful as there's more than one person here in my house - so that someone else can have a milkshake as well now.

You could buy them in 2s because the multi would still not kick in and they would compare £10 to £3. You would then need less fillers as you'd only need enough for one shop ;)

  • can I just ask please, did you actually pay £6.74 on your receipt or higher/lower? thank you

It's £3.97 a kg at the moment so they would have paid what is shown on the apg :)

That probably sounds more impressive than it is - there is a fair few contact sheets and single image to a page etc
