:rotfl::rotfl:That made me laugh Sparkly :rotfl::rotfl: I felt the same when I had all of mine, only me and oh in the room. She was on her own at the time though and wanted us there with strict instructions to stay away from the "business end" All that went to pot when labour went into full swing and none of us cared who was where or saw what. It was actually quite a bonding experience fo all of us, oh is dd1s' stepdad but has been around since she was 6 so he brought her up with me.

Now she has her partner though, I think it would be nice for them to share the experience together without us peering in from the corner of the room.

Yes, in some situations I can see why. I mean, I wouldn't want to be alone as it's scary to say the least. In my second there were so many people in the room as they had a training session for paramedics on and asked if they could join us. At that moment in time I didn't care either

    ta for this :j

the milkshakes seem to be £1.30 everywhere so OK for going on the sada v !!!!!! list - but mys has some varieties with a * so Ive put certain varieties onto the list.

the yogs seem to be 50p in sainsbobs so these would be good on the
    sada v sainsbobs
    list with 3 ciders :T
and hashbrowns for Shopotize - this list is still too short though

and it all depends if you trust mys prices :D

just checked and on Quidco clicksnap you can get one margs yog from sainsbobs for 50p and another from sada for 99p and a milk shack

so in theory you could go to sainsbobs get mars yog, milkshake and also the 2l coke zero £1 for Shopotize

The hash browns are deffo fine vs sains. Some sun lotions are too ATM and persil small and mighty. Hth

Only hurt pride tweets, thanks :A

Hope you dont get too wet today, just done the school run and it is horrid out there.

Congrats CoT - my gd1 is expected any day now :) Already have a gs who is almost 2. Dd1 wants me and oh to be with her at the birth as we were for her first....would like to, but this time she has the support of her partner (who is brill) and I feel it might seem we are pushing him out abit :( Am thinking we go to support her but take a back seat as much as possible. Last time oh was the "rock" and I cut the cord :) Would like her oh to be the one who does both those things for her this time but don't want her to feel we're not there for her.

I had the same thing last year with DD, she wanted me there but her OH is lovely-first child-and I really didnt want to get in the way of "Them". I told her i'd be there but away from the main bit as it really should be them two and baby. As it turned out baby came so quick I was stuck in traffic , 1/2 way in a 200 miles journey with phone in holder and DD OH giving me updates every 1/2 hour. I arrived about 15 mins after baby born and I was glad really. All 3 were snuggled up with DD and her Oh beaming with this briliant glow ...they looked such a sweet family unit and I then just took care of them for a week with food etc....

Wow What a wonderful experience I was at the birth of GD1 but it was a very back seat

I am sure you all come to a comfortable decision X
