    Evening gang,
we are having a small baby shower at the weekend and I have no idea what the format is....
my youngest has made some cakes and they are having little sandwiches and some games....any tips please ?

the whole thing is a little short notice as time has run away with us and tomorrow she has to have an emergency scan as they think the baby has flipped to head up again :(

    Good morning

I have organise several baby showers. I Made a baby pushchair from a water melon. Google it, it is very easy and looks fantastic as a center piece.

Games. I cut out lots of pictures from argos, Mothercare etc catalogues and gave each guest a sheet with the same pictures on, made it in to a price is right game. Can they guess the price of these items.

I made an advice line. Cut out cardboard shapes of baby clothes and gave each guest one. They could write their piece of advice and peg it on the ribbon. So it looked like a washing line, great to have them all pegged up as makes a lovely room decoration, given one for each guest to fill in. Also made a seperate one for the dads ( all the partners of the women attending filled one in before hand, they were sent out with the invite.)

I split the group into two teams and we played pictionary, sort of a win loose or draw game from the television ( if you re,ember that) all words were baby related.

I cut out pink baby templates plain face, with arms, legs and a nappy. And printed off lists of photos of the mum and dad to be. Guests cut them all up and made faces using the features they like from each parent.

You can melt different chocolate bars into nappies to look like poo. Guest have to name the chocolate bars.

Baby brain. Fill a tray with baby related items. Let them look at it for a set time. Cover with baby blanket, remove an item and see if the can work out what is missing. Or see if they can remember everything or whether they have baby brain.

All very cheap and easy ideas.

Good morning all, not read back so hoping you are all safe and well.

Not a great start to my morning....there I was, perched on the edge of the computer chair, leaning into a big bucket of shoes to find wellies. The chair rolled from under me and I crash to the floor knocking the cupboard next to me. The printer off the top of the cupboard falls off and lands on my head followed by the books and paperwork that were stored on top of the printer. :rotfl:Getting off the floor was no fun either

    Happy Friday 13th everyone :o

My son had a brace for 2 years and did find it hard to back away from the fizzy drinks. He did have some on the odd occasion and it did no harm. His teeth are absolutely beautiful now..He cleans them to within an inch of his life..well worth the endless trips to the orthodontist !!!
