I was talking to my mum about smoking as she gave up 6 months ago due to financial reasons. She started smoking in 1959 and apparently cigarettes were 1/11d for 10, and if she didn't have enough money she used buy one for a tuppence :rotfl:

Congratulations on your progress so far

Hi all, Sorry if old news - spotted a few nivea deodorants rtc in sadas today, including invisible black and white. Sel 49p scanned 25p:)
  • I gave up smoking in 1993.about a year b4 ds born.only smoked about5 a day but kept a packet in drawer for about 18mths after.my reasoning was the same as with forbidden foods, that if I had some there, I didnt want them.but if I couldnt find any, id want them most in the world, iykwim....made sense to me.my mum gave up using some kind of mouthwash someone was selling.he told her to use the mw and try a cig.she did and couldnt smoke cos she said it was worse thing ever, revolting.that was years ago.gave it to her friends and about 6 ppl stopped so must have been good stuff.never saw it again though.
these ecigs seem really good but I worry about the chargers catching fire, so please be extra careful.xx
