I have a question for the newbies if I may...how did you find the elite?
I guess everyone can answer if they so wish, but it really does interest me how we all bonded...

me I clicked on the thread at the time by mistake thinking it was something else, and ended up staying to see if I could work out what was going on....i'm still here, none the wiser as to whats going on...but glad I have made a few friends along the way!
At the time the chat was penny T items so it became a challenge to find some...

Thought it was to do with passing the 11+ :rotfl::rotfl: something to do with the original title?

I honestly can't remember how I found this thread.

May have stumbled on it by accident, or may have found it via paid to shop. I know it was around the time when PP came in at Tesco before they were limited (that was great, remember doing some £100 ones! ;)), and when we were getting everything for something like 37p at Asda on the APG. Still got 2 bottles of head and shoulders left from then, but everything else long gone.

For whoever it was that mentioned the garlic capsules, I had 2 boxes of those that I threw out a couple of years ago. Think that was one of the best points promotions ever, along with the Johnsons baby talc (still have a box full in the garage). Paid for my car from motorpoint with those!

I'll never forget the day I stumbled on this thread. I googled a code taking off 25.00 on a 25.00 spend at As after someone put it on their fbook. And this thread was the first result! From that day my life changed forever. Around 18 months later I don't pay for shopping at all :T well done elite.

Now, as it's Tuesday I need to do a c and c with my APGs. Anyone know of a good meat comparison? I'm running low, saw something about chicken I think but must be on the old thread :o Thank you

decant the Radox bath cream into a pump shower gel dispenser instead :T I've never been able to fathom out why you get almost twice as much bath cream compared to shower gel and is often cheaper?

Do you actually do that? Bath stuff seems very runny compared to shower gel. I'd give it a go...but my dove stash is still plentiful :T

She's 83 so I get told every weekend and she's got everything and doesn't need anything.
But god help me if I turned up Sunday with just me and my girl :D

Some photo coasters? I got these for my mum with all her grandchildren on. I'm sure she plays favourites when deciding whose face to put the hot coffee on :rotfl::rotfl:

I've always treated them as interchangeable, I use bubble bath I have been given as shower gel and vice-versa depending on my mood :D

Thanks, is this with mitchuim trigger? with 250ml dove? please

    Hi bubbs

I used the Dove deeply nourishing body wash 55ml (in travel size section to trigger radox) and the Men Mitchum advanced oxygen 200ml (green and orange anti perspirant & deodorant spray to trigger Dove).

Then bought 1 Dove men + care 250ml clean comfort and 1 Dove men + care 250ml fresh

plus 2 of the radox (after checking msm to see which were comparing)

    Hope this helps :)

How many posts have you made, Savvy?

If someone with such a high post count were to suddenly include a link in their signature then EVERY one of those posts would immediately contain it. [2] This could be used as a way of spamming the site

[1] You say that posting the links as signatures within the body of a message is no different to posting the link within the signature is not true because one way allows you to amend 1000s of posts with one click of a button, the other way doesn't

[1] Believe me, I'm the one that would sit here for hours, individually amending every post:o:o and then it would be the same effect.

[2] The important thing though is the intention, which is not taken into account. The key word is "could". Could be. But it wasn't. Clearly using an advertising message as a signature could amount to "spam" - or, as the rules say, an offence for a company to pose as a satisfied customer on the internet. However, while all rules exist for some reason, they can also catch a lot of things that don't even fall within the original intention (or maybe you could argue it does, but anyway...). However, I've long been a supporter of "if something is a bad rule, then it should be rigorously enforced even more so", so that we can see how "bad" it then really is - although it's not always quite the same when you're on the receiving end of the "enforcement"! I don't want to get into debating about the rules, nevertheless, so I'll get back to money-saving...
