Ok, so the Dove might not be over yet...

From my (failed) vs T shop earlier:

    Versus Morries
    1 x Dove Go Fresh Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Compressed...£3.59£3.24
1 x Dove Go Fresh Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Compressed...
    £3.59£1.59

Now, I bought the compressed Pomegranate, and the compressed Cucumer Doves, but I can't tell which one is cheap in Morries.

    These ones:
    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Deodorants_And_Body_Spray/Dove_Go_Fresh_Anti_Perspirant_Deodorant_Compressed_Cucumber_And_Green_Tea_125ml.html

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-compare-prices/Deodorants_And_Body_Spray/Dove_Go_Fresh_Anti_Perspirant_Deodorant_Compressed_Pomegranate_And_Lemon_Verbena_125ml.html

The cucumber one doesn't seem to be available in M's on my msm, so might be the cheap one.

    Bcodes Pom0863 Cuc4891

ETA, The more I look, the more convinced I am it's the cucumber one. From my apg the (cheaper in Morries Dove) compares with Waities @ £3.25, while the "other" one is N/A. On msm the pom is N/A at Waities and the cucumber is £3.25.

So buy 1x Mitchum Sport, and 2x Dove cucumber 125ml compressed for £5 +fillers and get apg of £4.32 ish.

If you hover over each dove on the apg it should show you the full description, might show you what flavour.

Yes it was, although some would say completely pedantic and technical. I assume you've never driven at 1 mph over the speed limit ever?

Furthermore the link was aimed at making it easier for people to find something, on the thread itself, that might save them money! I wasn't going to get into this; however you've raised the issue. I note that the forum rules also say that "Of course, our aim is to ensure legitimate information about saving money or fighting for consumer rights stays." Therefore, if that was really the aim as claimed, then the spirit of that ought to trump the technicality of the rule on signatures. However, I assume that, as it's found in breach of the signatures rule, it's therefore classed as illegitimate information and that one therefore prevents that from being argued. Even though it's counter to the aim of enabling people to save money more easily!

However, I notice that the issue was not originally directed towards myself and I think that that was an acknowledgement and reflection of the fact that my infraction was innocent and I hadn't even thought about the issue of links in signatures. The matter hadn't even occurred to me, but I shan't be breaching this rule again! Yes, it was in breach so, therefore, I am sorry. Thanks for your guidance.

You can take it, from my above comments, that I agree somewhat with that. Indeed, it seems I could simply post the very same thing, repeatedly in every post I make, as long as it isn't in the signature. It seems to me no real difference at all (it could simply appear immediately above the signature line rather than below it) and to all practical purposes it is very same thing and the rule rendered useless by being so easily circumvented in that way! I must admit, slightly, I do find it a bit tempting to keep posting the very same thing in the body of every post from now on in (a bit like trying to stop a newspaper from publishing something so that they then publish and publish and publish even more about how they cannot publish the very thing and lay as many clues as possible in order to keep the story running and running) - in a way, I'd feel drawn to posting the link again and again in the body of all of my future posts - it almost feels a bit subversive, also given the captivation of the taboo nature of it being in the actual signature, and almost as if I'm doing it in some form of protest or something - it would make me feel a bit :naughty: but, much as I feel drawn towards something as a form of protest, I will refrain.

That's you and me told trubster!

    Never occurred to you?

Oh dear god I just googled that. What kind of world do we live in :(:(:(:(

It's truly scary millions of dogs die in these places every year usually of peritonitis or torture I will be a part of ending this heinus barbaric practice cos I can't bear to think of these poor souls dying alone and in agony xxx
We are many we are one xxx

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

    Hi,

Sorry you haven't received your bonus yet.

Due to the unforeseen number of members which took part in the bonus, the bonus is taking that little bit longer to be rewarded to all those that are eligible.

Your bonus will be awarded to your account over the next 7 days.

I am very sorry for any inconvenience that this may be causing you.

    Kind Regards,

    Chantelle

Thanks very much for this. Fingers crossed.

I do not make the rules, that is purely the domain of the owners of this site and the Forum Team, so if you have any issue with the rules or with the Forum Team applying them you should email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com

    Hi everyone :)

I'm sorry to confess that I'm a bit of a lurker but have done a few instore shops at a's.

I took the plunge this morning and did my first c+c for the udi's and applied for my apg straight away, I know the vouchers come through on Tues afternoon so should I get mine today or will it be next week?

I also took the plunge and did my first bni this afternoon and got the £10 pp, would you use this to do another one or is it best to use it against something else?

Thanks for all your help and all the great glitches! :)

Sorry don't know the answers. But hello and welcome.

How many posts have you made, Savvy?

If someone with such a high post count were to suddenly include a link in their signature then EVERY one of those posts would immediately contain it. This could be used as a way of spamming the site

You say that posting the links as signatures within the body of a message is no different to posting the link within the signature is not true because one way allows you to amend 1000s of posts with one click of a button, the other way doesn't

That was an actual link to a URL that I can see, whereas the post number, that just appeared as post number underlined, didn't appear to me to be the same thing:doh:. Of course now I think about it, it's obvious that the post number has that link embedded behind it, but that didn't cross my mind when I just copied and pasted it early this morning. (It simply seemed an excellent way of linking back to my list.) All is forgiven though - we can still be friends or, if I misread the situation and not actual friends, still be on friendly terms despite getting me 'into trouble'! (:eek:I was the person at school who got the other kids into trouble on any rules:o:o - no wonder I didn't make friends!:rotfl:)

decant the Radox bath cream into a pump shower gel dispenser instead :T I've never been able to fathom out why you get almost twice as much bath cream compared to shower gel and is often cheaper?
