Financial reviews for large deposits sitting in bank accounts - trigger £?

Would forumites be able to say how much money sitting in a current account triggers a phone call or letter from the bank inviting the customer in for a financial review meeting? Which companies?
I presume banks are still offer this as they have upholstered seats near the enquiry counter.

Are you asking because you want a "review" or because you want to avoid one?

In any case, a "review" is always a sales session. You wouldn't expect for Debenhams etc to call you to review your wardrobe, so why expect a bank to call to review your balance?

Banks have massively scaled down their invitations to reviews since the various recent financial scandals. I suppose those still getting invitations nowadays must be on some sort of a 'suckers list' of people who attended a review before, or have bought exceptionally profitable [for the bank] products.

The only current accounts that should have more than you need for your normal monthly transactions are those that pay high interest - if you do have large sums in a non-interest paying current account then get it moved somewhere else pronto!
