Dear all,
The sound on this laptop is not very loud, any thing I can do to increase it?

buy another speaker.....if the laptop has bluetooth then you can get a good bluetooth speaker the one i use for ipod/ipad is http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B006L23CQA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00 and has great sound from it

With a few exceptions, the sound (both quality and volume) from laptop speakers is never going to be anything exciting as there is only very limited room to fit the components.


I believe that the Toshiba 830 is one of their "ultraportable" laptops so is going to be even smaller and lighter than many others and will be designed with long battery life as one of the important factors so having en external speaker setup will probably be your only option.
