    I'm not getting stroppy. I said you're both making valid points. It's not a competition. We're here to help the OP get the best result for them.

    There are not that many Italians, that speak English. In the area I live, it would be maybe 2%. Plus you have the local dialect problems.

    They had the severe disadvantage of a foreigner in their land who's knowledge of Italian was limited to "Ciao Bella" and "Pope".

    I was a disgrace!
