Sister Needs A Disabled Bathroom Any Recommendations Please ?

My disabled sister is moving into a new bungalow that needs some adaptions for her needs. Most things I can sort out for her with only slight adaptions. However the bathroom needs a complete overhaul with everything needing changing to accommodate a bath lift etc.
Can anyone recommend a company to do this please ? we are in Chester. Everyone I have seen on the internet looks great until I Google the reviews and find they have been on Watchdog, run off with the money, not completed the job or the director is in prison.

This is proving difficult so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Does your council have a list of traders that they trust? If not, you could always ring them and ask who they use for putting in bathrooms suitable for disabled people. We have a downstairs wetroom for my disabled son and it was built with a Disabled Facilities Grant. When the shower pump failed a couple of weeks ago, the chap at the council was able to recommend firms that they use. The firms specialise in in stalling the particular type of pump that we have.

Why don't you have a word with Social Services and get an assessment carried out. SS have a fantastic range of equipment that they loan out long term with no cost. My wife has an electric bath lift supplied by SS which she sits in and then she lowers her self into the water - brilliant idea!!

Thanks. I'm not sure that she would qualify for any help so I didn't think SS would be bothered but I will give them a call. She does need an electric bath lift benniebert.
