Mortgage after repossession

Hi,
Due to a marriage breakdown a few years ago, my house was repossessed last year, I actually had it volitarily repossessed due to the ex being very difficult so I went through a solicitor myself. Now with my new husband we are in a very good financial position, we have 25% deposit for a 300,000 mortgage with him having an excellent credit rating. My credit rating is ok, I have just paid off all debts and waiting for them to clear on my credit score. Thing is house repossession doesn't show up on there? Have spoken to our mortgage advisor and she's speaking to a solicitor on Monday? Why doesn't it show on my credit accounts (experian and equifax) is past repo going to be a big problem even though our current situation is excellent?
Thanks any info would be fab x

Check all the credit rating facilities, it will cause you problems, I would be very surprised if it didn't.0

Yes, having a property repossessed will be a huge negative factor when you come to buy another property, especially since it only happened a year ago.
When did you first default on the mortgage?0 -
You say voluntary
No court order so maybe that's why?
What is the situation with the mortgage ? Is this now settled?0 -
Thanks for all your replies, I couldn't even tell you the first default on the mortgage. Was years and years ago.. maybe 8 or 9 or more. Was all done from my ex husbands bank so I didn't know for a while. And yes no court proceedings or anything. I asked for a letter and signed it. I had a letter from the mortgage company saying property was sold and nothing since.... It has been sold at near enough the value we owed so if anything if to be paid back it's in the hundreds not thousands0
