So Confused esa dla sda

I received an esa claim pack which I posted back in December but have not heard anything about an assessment or anything else yet. My dla which I receive middle rate and high rate mobility was renewed in Feb 2015 indefinately. I also receive sda. I am wondering if the esa is just instead of severe dissability or instead of all the other benefits and also If I do get esa will i still need to claim pip when that comes around ????? So confused :-((

do you mean severe disability allowance or severe disability premium?
    they are different things.
are you transferring to ESA or is this a new claim?

Thank you for the quick reply. I believe it is severe dissablement allowance (just gone up to £74.65 plus age related addition). The esa form was sent to me automatic as I am already claiming the sda, dla and mobility so I take it it is the switch over as I have not tried for anything new.

Your SDA is in the process of changing to ESA.

Until you are assessed you will continue to be paid your SDA.

Your DLA will continue until your area 'migrates' to PIP.

Thank you both. I was so confused as esa and pip both asked about dissability living and mobility that I was frightned it meant i would only receive one (esa Or dla/mobility Or pip)
    Thanks again
