  • The Dove Bodywash in my store did not have yellow labels on the shelf edge, but I took the risk and ofcourse it went through fine, BOGOF. Did not even look at the Slimfast label as I knew it would still work ;) .

Have to do a bit of planning for my next shop with all these new offers, thanks for posting them!

When I looked at Tesco.com it shows Lypsyl as 93p each or 2 for £1?

    Yep....original variant is 93p.

Strawberry variant is £1.15 and also 2 for £1

Oooo, thank you. It only shows the original flavour on my Tesco.com.

I wonder how the will sell at a bootsale? Not much to choose from with healthcare is there?

  • I meant to add.. I find the free gift from this months Marie Claire [Jaeger purse] really useful.

It has 2 sections which are separated by a zipped pocket.

I use the 2 pockets for coupons for 2 split shops, plus the zipped area for extra coupons that might get taken in the event of a happy scanner.

If only doing 1 shop then I put the coupons for that shop at the front, and fill the back part with extras, again in the event of a happy scanner.

This saves the risk of anyone catching sight of the pencil case full of coupons.:rotfl:

Mind you, I did have to raid that too tonight, after repeated requests for more coupons... just for tonight, I love Tesco..:D

    Dream on leadhead!!
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

  • Having trouble posting tonight so heres goes nothing.

Vellum - I've used Nicky Clarke Serum and hairspray, both very good. I have kept back 1 Pro Haircare coupon to see what was on offer in the new BOGOFs so will check out what is on offer in that range.

My DD loves VO5 Perfect lengths so will stock up on that with H&B.

I hate the way Tesco take down the shelf edge offers a day early. Just as well I remembered seeing Tampax on offer, as wanted to use the points coupon I got today, before the offer ended.

I had a wonderful shop today.. a £44.26 shop down to £7.67 and the lad would have taken more coupons, but I was afraid I'd get him into trouble. I now know which days he works though, as he told me to look for him if I had lots of mocs.. [always, lol].

3 out of 3 successful shops makes up for last weeks hatchet faced efforts and proves it all works out for the best in the end.

I told OH I want to adopt the lad that was on the till tonight.. he reckoned lad was trying to chat me up.. I think adoption is the more likely scenario.. :rotfl:

I haven't used this before but spotted some on the clearance shelf last night so grabbed 10 of them :)

They were 64p for the 400ml size, I am guessing this was a bargain then... :rotfl:

  • I have had some fab shops lately for very little money but i got into a bit of a spot tonight.

Went to a lovely girl I have had serve me before and did the usual toiletry thing (by the way, got 8 Eden sprays tonight as last chance and not bought any before, got the Lavender colour one and it smells really nice) and handed over the usual vouchers.

When it came to my moc's, I gave her a pile and she started scanning them all. lady behind me was really huffing and puffing, I felt terrible. trouble was, the moc's I gave the girl, although totally legit, were quite fuzzy and it was taking her ages to get them to scan. The poor girl looked really embarassed as the lady (I use the term loosely ;) ) behind me got even louder with her tutting. She managed it in the end but I didn't know what else to do but stay there while she valiantly tried to scan the fuzzed vouchers. I didn't have any spare on me either so I couldn't even give her some different ones to speed it up  I felt like saying its ok, I'll pay now but I just couldn't do it! my mind was trying to get my mouth open to say it but my bargain saving nature wouldn't allow it :rotfl:

My one big worry was that a supervisor would pass by and the tutty woman would mention all the vouchers etc, but luckily that didn't happen :D

Note to self, check vouchers before handing them over next time :)

Thanks from me too Patty for the list... I'm joining the not too excited yet but sure it will come.

I'll never coupon on last night of offers again, as previously stated yellow sel's removed.... my 14 bundles of coupons made up... lists made up... & not the stock on the shelves to fulfill my lists. Only chocolate slimfast at £4.49 so thought I'd accumulate this with 2 x £3.48 durex & paracetomol so not to lose a £. Then had to rethink my £20.00 beauty shops as deodrants, showergels & shampoos I wanted were not on the shelf, (hard to do from memory of offers) did this combo 3 times bundled 2 piles of coupons up & for each shop adding an extra £1.00 h&b... First transaction paid pennies, second he handed half of my coupons back & yes it was the till bleeping.. It came to £11.xx told him I didn't have enough money & they must work as same transaction as before, he said he'll try something different.. typed in the barcode of a coupon & the rest scanned... I asked if he was happy to do my next lot with coupons & he said yes. Was successful but really stressful, T needs to employ some shelf stackers quick on their toes.

Decided to go to a different store which had more stock of stuff so completed 12 in the end.

So after all this ordeal I have couponed:
    1) slimfast for a better figure
    2) Deals for a meal out with someone
    3) Feminine Underwear
    4) Condoms
    5) Durex Play (Welshy's reports say no good though)
    6) Headache Tablets & loads of.... Excuse for before or may need after!

Just need to coupon a guy now, where are you Leadhead, I'm 100% sure you're all man :o & I'm sure the girls will follow me on this one. You are everyones coupon King especially mine LOL.
