Really i sold 40 a go and still could have sold more. I did everything for 1 pound or 6 for 5 pounds. This included the more expensive items like plax.

As i mentioned earlier in the week, a friend enquired as "to what i had in my loft"....she has since given me £700, has another 2 envelopes for me, and still has over £500's worth left....I reckon theres still another £1k minimum in the loft...but i'd be much better off if Tescos kept their prices UP untill i get rid of it all........ but the £1 shop, Wilkinsons, B and M and the like are selling stuff for less than I am.....how Tescos are a rip off!!!!! and no wonder i only shop there when its free, or worth it for points....

I picked up a new leaflet in Tesco's at Fernwood today. It's called Health,Beauty & baby Bargains. I got all excited when I saw ''Don't miss money off coupons inside''. However was very disappointed when I saw the actual coupons.

£1 off Pond's Dry Skin Cream
    £1 off Benefiber products
    £1 off Savlon Aftersun Foam

    All valid until 18th May

    Hey Everyone

I headed to tesco today to get a few bits and bobs armed with a few coupons to try. Im a newbie to this and have only ever tried it once in asda before and the girl was a bit rude to me.

Anyway I decided to try again this time in tescos as I here tescos is seemingly better. I spent £17.96 and handed over £5.50 in vouchers and the girl happily accepted them. I was sooooooo excited and im really chuffed that I got that much off my shopping. It was a young girl that was at the checkout she didnt ask any questions just scanned them, so im not sure if I was just lucky. Had a price promise voucher as well which borught my total bill down to £9 something so i am well pleased with that

I think I will try again tommorow for a few more things after printing some more vouchers from the tinternet :rotfl:

sorry if I have rambled on a bit i was just so excited.

Welcome to the thread, and Tesco couponing (they're coupons not vouchers)...You have been lucky really to find such an amiable SA, on your first visit as things are getting a bit tighter...You should write down the details of your visit, so as to catch this wonderful scanner next time.....and the next time...

Dont have a false belief though that Asda are rude and Tescos arent......far from it...there are some "nasties" all over.....

Tescos in general may have a more relaxed policy...in fact i am a great believer that Tesco's Policy is.............."We have no policy"........as theres no consistency between the stores.....

and....Policies differ in every store, with every SA and even two SA's sitting back to bck will have different opinions....

A lot of us regularly "dont pay" for shopping....but you already seem keyed up already on where to get your coupons.....and if you learn the tollerence of the SA's you use regularly then it should last until at least they are "told otherwise"....

    Good Luck...

I have only ever tried internet coupons and have been told I can use one only of them , and then, only when I buy the actual item. With your expertise in couponing (I'm trying flattery), have you got any suggestions of where the best places are to find the most 'real' coupons, that might be more easily accepted by nice Tesco checkout peeps ? icon7.gif
(Also: I rang Tesco customer services and they said exactly what you said "we have no policy, but there's no reason why any coupons should be rejected. It's entirely up to managers discretion". Pathetic.)

    Hi Jellytots,

I read the daily newspaper thread on here and some lovely peeps will tell you if there are any coupons to be had. Then, if they have a good expiry date I buy lots of copies of the paper, using coupons to pay of course. Also the magazine thread, recently there was £13 of huggies couons in one of the baby mags which cost about £2.80, so a good profit in coupons from each one.

You can look on ebay, sometimes there are good buys for coupons on there, I try to pay no more than 1/3 of the value.

You will find that your stash of coupons soon builds up and then you just have to find and remember good sales assistants to scan them for you.
