My Local Tesco is being knocked down after Xmas to make way for a new bigger shop. So won,t have much time left to do any H&B shops as it will not reopen till Autum 2008:eek: Don't know what I shall do as the next store is too far for me to keep popping to . Good job I have a stash left from the last lot. Silly thing is they are still giving out petrol coupons and that was knocked down two months ago. Its 20miles to the nearest Petrol station .

I shall be away when they come out. In Disneyland Paris with my grandson. The trip is his Christmas present, else I would cancel (only joking :rotfl:) Please leave some H&B vouchers for me when i get back. Well actually put some on E-Bay for me to buy as the Greater or Lesser H&B voucher bird has never been spotted at my local Tesco.

I picked up a pamphlet in Tesco that definitely had "so beautiful" on the front, well picked up a few, as one does. SHOCK HORROR no vouchers or coupons inside!!!!

Make a note of the week they are closing down, and get yourself in there and in any rival stores in the final week (particularly on the final day). It's quite possible they will give out vouchers for £x off £xx spend in the Tesco that's closing (for use in the nearest other one) AND that rivals like the nearest Sainsburys may well hand out similar vouchers that week to try to poach your custom.

Whenever any supermarket closes for a refit, not just Tesco, vouchers are often available in the local area but only briefly. In my area, when a Sainsburys closed for a fortnight they handed out on the last day, lovely £5 off £25 leaflets which Tesco take (and I took.....!) and when a new Aldi was opened, even the nearest Tesco Metro had some special £4 off £20 leaflets printed which were only on the CS desk for a couple of days (their swift disappearance was not just down to me, lol!).
