Wow, someone else who knows what Medised is! Most people I know haven't heard of it! It's the only children's medicine that works on my little girl. Calpol and nurofen have no effect on her whatsoever. It was recommended to me by a children's doctor (can't spell the real word!). It really is good.

Keeping it Tesco related - I've still got a few shops to do to finish my coupons off. Haven't been too impressed with this round of BOGOFs.

  • had a really hectic day today, managed three shops using up alot of coupons that are going out of date soon. god what will i do come the 28/10 lol

first shop picked a bad checkout, young girl, but there were a few people ahead of me, was held up badly by a woman trying to use 20 vouchers printed off the internet!!! brought attention to me badly! there was a supervisor hanging about the checkout as the young girl was scanning my shopping. still managed to get £30 shop down to £10 .

second shop 1 hour later, toddler only slightly subdued by a mc'ds decided to have a paddy at the checkout, used my usual young boy happy scanner, but he didn't look very happy to see me! lol, i think my tesco's about to clamp down on coupons like. managed to get a £20 shop for £6, a few £1 coupons wouldn't scan.

third shop, four hours later, son happy outside with granny on bob the builder ride, never been to this tesco before, noticed self scan tills, but all tills were manned by really young sa's so 2 supervisors were hovering past every checkout all the time! the selfscan was manned by 2 sa's, so didn't have the guts to use it, as nobody else was there and was scared of it beeping. got £35 shop for £15

so spent £30 but got shopping i needed on every shop as well, including three packs of nappies for points, so really pleased

my problem is that i buy other items to disguise my h &b shop, otherwise my h &b was free. anybody tried toilettry giftsets yet with vouchers????
my boots and tesco addictions are costing me a fortune

I ordered £20.00 Tesco gift card trying to make up 60 pounds to use some vouchers in Tesco. Unfortunately it does not seem to contribute to the total spend and my voucher was rejected.

Anyone know if mobile top-up vouchers count to the total spend (before I try again)?

    Thanks.

  • i know that you cant buy gift vouchers to count towards your £30 spend so maybe top ups work the same way
dont wait for your boat to come in, get in a dingy and row out to it!!!
  • Lottery tickets count.

A few good shops today....should that be yesterday, and the day before, but tbh, getting fed up of always having to buy toiletries to use these extra 5x £1 's to enable extra money off shopping........today I clicked particularly well with this half price Persil...did a couple of 4 x Addidas sprays at £2.28, 6x addidas Shower gels at £1.88....10 x 30 wash Persil at £2.39.....used the usual £32 of Hb/£6's and a couple of mocs and paid 50pence.....a few times.

Had to ask the manager if he had a multibuy policy first though......

i will get some beauty hb tomorrow
i will get some beauty hb tomorrow
i will get some beauty hb tomorrow
i will get some beauty hb tomorrow

and may even get some HC as well.............

just thought of a combined combo, that will allow the coupons on £20 toiletries, to also buy me £20 of beauty, and the extra hb coupons(from the beauty) will put my free spend upto £47.............just thinking aloud.....I know what i mean...................i think.

  • Sorry, just a question for you Tesco experts.... can I use 5 X 50pts (on £2 spend) on a £10 HB shop before BOGOF's? Also, does anyone know if the £1 off Colgate mouthwash will scan on other mouthwashes or diff Colgate products? Thanks for you help, L

If the SA lets them go through, yes they will scan. As for the mouthwash one it will only scan on the plax mouthwash. The 40p colgate total one will scan on any toothpaste. HTH

There is a quirk with the 50 point coupons, in that you must buy the same number (or more) products as coupons you intend to use - i.e to use 5 * 50 point coupons, you must buy 5 or more products, not one at £10. I *know* it says "for each £2 spend", but it doesn't work like that (and anyone who tells you different hasn't actually tried it!!!)
