Its only a mistake if it flags up on their system, and you get caught......but i admit, its a crying shame, knowing that from way back in RandR days, i have missed out on what must be tens of thousands of points....especially as i have swapped (PTS) maybe 1000 x 50 pointers from all HandB leaflets this year........but then again, I would rather have the Xboxes, the PSP's, the phones, the food, the clothes, the beer,the electricals, the champagne, the HandB, and all the other gifts from Mr T, that has made me, my family and my loved ones(etc) lives a bit easier.........

I think we are a very small minority of Mr T's customers.

Theres a bit of a witch-hunt every so often, i remember a few months ago getting 4 or 5 PM's from people who had been caught through Club Card use.

I reported it on here, there was a bit of a panic, but it was forgotton......until the next time.........or until it is YOU....(not specifically you kaja86)

I use a paper card and just throw it away once I get a reminder to register it.

Do you think its wise to collect 500 points and put an unregister papercard on ebay???

Or would this flag up in the system???

hi leadhead - can you give us some advice please - people cant really identify with all this talk of being banned as we have no idea what scale you are talking about. how much use would you say would flag us up on the system... most people dont do anywhere near as many h&b shops as your 'many per day' - do you think a few a week would be ok? please give us a clue here:)

I do a double shop, ie two on the belt, split with dividers, once a day and on a weekend, may be three or four times a day.

I have used various cards from day one and never heard a peep from Tesco.

I don't do online deliverys to take advantage of the 1000 points that are around as that way, you still have to pay quite a lot for your shopping, my way, using Hb coupons and moc's means I get my shopping for very little.

I always intend not registering the temp cards I pick up but when the points get high, its too tempting and I have registered quite a few already. Maybe I should ease off for a bit...

I do 4/5 shops a week over 2 clubcards.. h&b and extra points.. i always spend between £10 and £30 at a time though along with about £10-£20 free stuff... am i really that naughty????

most of us prob dont have that much to worry about - hardhands has said that he used 2 clubcards every day - 14 shops a week is more than most i would suspect.

hardhands - thanks for the reply - were you using lots of coupons for each shop or was it just £10 h&b?

my clubcard point balance is at 10600 with a month to go, will that raise eyebrows in mr t's office???

shouldnt think so - many people have much much higher balances than that

I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong but if it stays under 14,000pts you will safely get your coupons. I think 3 x £49.50 might be the maximum you can get one statement sheet, any more it has to be authorised and you get 2 statemant sheets stapled together.
