think people posted that they had bought perfume last time - you could use the £2.50 h&b's the £1.25 quits and the £2.50 so beautifuls

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Don't have any SB or QK but some money off is better than none!!
  • Ive mastered a 20 pound shop, but i never use the HC. What amount are people generally spending on HC?

I was thinking a 20 H&B and 8 pound HC (before BOGOF) Aiming to buy:-

    8 x lynx
    2 x Aquafresh
2 x IL bubble bath and
    2 x Slim fast.

I figure that 12 H&B items for 10.64 would give greater value for money at a car boot.

it is good value you are right but you can do both as they are different coupons :)

its always nice to have a bit of variety at the car boot, plus if you have the Slimfast there, it will attract different types of people who might also look at your toiletries :)

Best times to shop, I agree weekends are definitly the best, anytime, either day. Friday is always good my way too, tends to be busy, also any day of the week at about 5ish is nice and busy with the school lads on too but with a 3yr old I dont tend to go at this time much cos she wants her tea. Also Weds is my usual weekly shop with my boy on so I know I can get away with what ever I give him.
  • Went into my local mr t's yesterday (at around 4.30pm) and couldnt believe it when I saw a few piles of h&b in the beaty aisle  there was a lady hovering around a bit but managed to grab a few, there was loads there but I am not cheeky enough to grab great big handfuls...

Bet when I nip in tomorrow they are all gone!! I only use them for stocking up on my own bits of toiletries (and am really disapointed that there are no mens antipersperants on bogoff:mad: ) as dh goes through loads of the stuff (just as well the old cfc damaging stuff has been taken out of aerosols  )

I was just amazed to see them there!

    Hi Northy :

    will email you later :)

I have tried going at 4pm on a weekday and thats been a good time for me but its hard to do as I have to pick my youngest up from school at 3 oclock. He's not keen on Tesco so have to drop him at home, make tea for everyone and try to rush back down there while it still busy, not easy to do!

Vaseline A/P for men are currently 1.56 each or 2 for £2 and rightguard are half price @ £1.18.
    If you have the coupons:
    2 plax + 2 vaseline + 1rightguard = £10.02
    1 x 2.50 sb, 1x 2.50 hb, 2 x 1.00 plax, 2 x 1.00 hb = £9.00
    2.86 + 2.00+ 1.18 = £6.04 so £2.96 credit
Even better if you have the quits as well but I've unfortunately run out of those.

    Hope this helps
  • i'm new to this Tesco points thing............ so where do you get all these vouchers from ????? are they instore or do you get sent them????.. whats quit ??? whats SB ???? so many questions lol

  • Right heres something I have to admit too - and am really gutted about

I had a lil bonfire in my garden 2 weeks ago using the QK packs ,thinking that my local Tesco would never ever ever get any of the H&B ones I proceeded to burn my stash of QK vouchers

Surpise surprise a couple of days ago I went into Tesco and they've only gone and got some H&B vouchers in there now :o

    Absolutely gutted !!

What I did do is grab about 20 of the H&B vouchersmnow all I need is some QK ones
If you dont ask you dont get!!

All I can say is ...why!!!!

I did the same with the Plax coupons, I had about 300 and threw them in the recycle bin as thought they would never go on offer, few days later, they went on bogof... typical!
