i think it depends on the size of your shop etc - obviously some coupons off a £100 shop are going to look a lot less off the balance than coming off a £10 one! Others have reported after 3 it beeps for the supervisor - personally i dont use them as i think they are a law unto themselves and would feel more comfortable with the cashier accepting the vouchers than a supervisor coming over and voiding things off if it all goes wrong

Hi all, I'm very new to all this Tesco stuff, but working overtime to try and catch up with reading all the posts.... thanks very much for all the info on here.

Anyway, I thought I'd give you a bit of info I discovered today;

At my localTesco Plax was not advertised as BOGOF, or even half price. I was on the lookout for H&B leaflets and couldn't see any, so I asked at the Pharmacy counter and the lady there said, "yes, we do have some, but we're not allowed to put them out because some of the information on them is incorrect and we could get into trouble for false advertising." What she had done was torn off the coupons page and put some of those out on the counter, but she wasn't allowed to put the part out where it showed the BOGOF offers etc. She said I could take the vouchers which she had torn off. I did ask what was on the leaflets that needed to be changed, but she said she didn't know ...... could it be Plax perhaps? :rolleyes:

Shall we all complain to tesco about the plax offer advertised in the leaflets is not right? They might change their mind if enough people protest!
