TESCO H&B COUPONS - Thread 3 *See First Post for UPDATES*

(Only really posted to see what my new title was..."Serious Money Saving Fan"...there you are...says nothing about being a greedy git....and I'm passed the "wart" stage.)

At the risk of being called greedy......lol..............

I found another 50+ HandB this morning, although it was really a smash and grab raid.....

Celebrated by going out his afternoon, and completely emptying 2 stores of all their Plax...............now i wont tell you how many i got..but i got rid of 22x£2.50 Coupons, 154 £1 Plax coupons and the total i spent was £1.21....no sorry £1.57.... i bought a Mars bar to pad out one shop.

Still got over 300 Plax coupons left, but theres nothing on the shelves..... wonder if theyll stock up over night......

Fiunny story that about the Plax...offer only been on a couple of days and rumours about greed putting the block on it...did at least 40+ Radox every night for a long time, and none of my stores noticed....or if they did, theyre still happy for me to have their Plax.

One young SA wasnt too sure today, so called till supervisor, i told him i had bought 14, he told her to accept 14 £1 coupons, I then told her he meant the 2 x£2.50's as well......another 11p sale.

Wasnt interested in getting money off other stuff....I'm not greedy you know!!!..otherwise could have used another 2 x £2.50, 10 x £1 and 8 x £1.25...but keeping those for later...........

Its amazing that 14 £1 Plax coupons will scan one after another...there goes the "mix them up" theory.

Decided now to only buy 2 different coloured ones at a time..so put one blue, one red on belt, keep other 12 in trolly/basket, and say "7 of each"...doesnt draw as much attention to seeing loads of Plax on belt, and can pack quicker as well.

I also called at another Tesco in that area and managed to get 25 Hb, what a wonderful feeling when you see the little red leaflets!

what store was this one if you don't mind telling?

had no luck for the last three issues
looked in R/ham,Chesterfield and Doncaster.

Well done Leadhead on your haul, I can never hit those impressive levels.. kids get bored... Never found any h&b neither in this store.

Only managed 28 Plax yesterday, used extra coupons on 14 to make up my shortfall on a clothes shop I combined with, & on the other 14 I used 14 Plax & 4 x £2.50's so £4.89 off shopping I think put extra groceries in so paid 70p for that one... All plax hidden under clothes.. not through guilt.. I have none... Just to avoid the rule of 6.

Plax at an end today as coming off BOGOF (if report is correct going half price)... Panic over free Plax will still be easily achieavable... 14 plax @ £1.43 = £20.02 - 14 £1.00 plax, 2 x £2.50's & 1 x £1.00h&b = 2p to pay....

Or use more on above for money off shopping, this is providing a memo is not sent out regarding this but we all know how good they are.

Sometimes i feel a bit "single mindedness" is called for, and i go out for the "single product"...plenty of time for the rest.......but looking at your breakdown, there was no need for the panic anyway......So i'll not bother emptying the shelves today then...........thanks my Coupon Queen.

I've just bought myself some off ebay cos i never seem to find any!
I bet you i'll go in this time and there will be a huge pile of unguarded ones available!! LOL!
I think my ebay ones were a good deal, and have also bought some plax one too.
Am going to try using MOC's in asda today and see what they are like as i haven't Coupon'ed in ages, as waitrose practically kicked me out for using so many and threatened me with a ban!! The barstwards! I want to get back into the habit of this coupon Malarky as i love money saving, and getting stuff for next to nothing! :j

Could someone confirm this for before shopping ( sorry not been on board for over week as had unwell baby and it will save me going through all the posts! ) I've gleened this from first page-

Plax BOGOF £2.86 and a few other bits

if i buy 4 2.86 x4 =11.44
- BOGOF at 2.99 x2 makes total of £5.46
- 4X£1 plax coupons = £1.46

Can i then use 2X new quit £1.25 beauty and toiletry coupons as total before bOGOF was over £10.?
