TESCO H&B COUPONS - Thread 3 *See First Post for UPDATES*

I'll try to cut a long story short but yesterday my local Tesco banned me for, "all of my lifetime" for trying to use 6 Colgate 40 pence coupons (had bought toothpaste). A security guard delivered the news in the foyer but didn't realise my husband was looking at the mags. Apparantly I had abused two supervisors - I hadn't. I had to go to a back room with the supervisor dragging my trolley 'til I pointed out that I could push it myself. I must have died very quickly because in the end I had an apology and ban lifted or was that because I told them my husband was a journalist (true)!!

Gutted as my H&B didnt arrive from ebay intime to use them. Is there any chance they will work tomorrow?


However i did make 175 at a car boot sale selling the toliteries I had previously bought and have 26 boxes of condoms at home!!!

Used last HB today, bought all colgate and forgot
the 40p coupons.
Used my last £1.25 quit coupon today :sad:

on what ground did they demand u to go to back room?

surely 6 x 40p colgate were not really a big deal? did u use many coupons before in that store and being targeted?

Not the greatest shopping list but an option with the quit kit and smile coupons:

2 x Head shower gel 1.69 each = 3.38
2 x Colgate great regular toothpaste 93p each = 1.86
Total = 5.24
Minus Head BOGOF(Plus glitch) 1.99
Minus QK Toiletries 1.25
Minus QK Colgate x 2 80p

Had an excellent final day & shifted all £1.00's of T&B & 50pts, only hc left... Completed 12 x £20.00 shops with £32.00 hc... funniest combination ever on the belt, funny shaped loaded shower gel, condoms & lypsil for sore lips, had the best laugh ever with cashier & customers behind who then were amazed at how much I paid.

I have stacks of radox (212, as used & sold some) 60V05, assorted loaded, condoms, haribo, lypsils, toothpastes & best of all fed the family for peanuts over the last weeks.

In terms of qp's I have 58 left even though I've been using some for money off shopping they keep appearing around the house & in the car.. Keeping hold of these for the next instalment or massive glitch.

Also can still coupon Hariboarange at 4 x £2.12 bogof with £2.00QP & 2 x £1.00 balance vitamins leaving 24p to pay... far too much for me.

I really need a break but with kids going back to school I'll have a bit of free time so I've got 4 clothing shops lined up with blues.. then the odd garments needing to be returned... Always in the game.

My husband asked if we could talk somewhere private as I was crying (feel stupid now) but we were treated like criminals. About two years ago I tryed to use some h&b and was told I couldn't so I left it without paying but I wasn't abusive. They said yesterday that I was told I was banned then - I wasn't. My husband said he thought he would have remembered if I had come home and said I was banned! We certainly wouldn't have gone shopping there. A very strong letter is being written - have to find out where to send it. I call it bullying.
