work for a large financial organisation through an agency. Would I be entitled to paternity leave and pay even if I'm a temp?

What does your contract say?
Agency workers generally are entitled to paternity leave if they meet the eligibility criteria but there are a few exceptions depending on your type of contract.
If you have any difficulty establishing your position then take your contract to CAB so it can be established what kind of contract it is.0
