Not sure how to describe this, but I shall try my best.
After being on the net for a few mins, things go a bit strange, the mouse cant click anything, the way I get out of this situation is to bring up the task manager, click on minimise twice and then I can carry on as before.
If I am away from the computer for a while then , then I notice that I cant click the icons I have to right click IE and then open it from the list, a reastart gets me back to the above situation.
This started ages ago, I did a restore but even then I couldnt remember when it started (thoough for some reason I think it might have been around the time I put on a wired mouse in a USB, I had wireless until then)
Is there anything I can do to get rid of this mild irratation?
Thanks

Did you uninstall the software completely for you wireless setup. Did you install the software that came with your new mouse properly. Have you tried another mouse. Uninstall and reinstall your mouse. These are the things I would check if I was having the prob. Good Luck0

Thanks for the reply ...... I dont know if it is the mouse causing the problem , it was a thought thinking back (it is probably 3 or 4 months ), the previous mouse was wireless, but the back broke so the batteries kept coming out. The wireless one is 'linked' to the keyboard so its all still there, software etc
No software with the new one ... I just put it in the USB.0 -
Whhat can I do to make things easier....anyone?

What operating sytem and is it up to date? What security software do you have installed? Anti-virus, firewall, anti-spyware etc.etc. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

I already use firefox, its been my default browser for at least 3 years!
Perhaps I will just have to live with it, its no great deal, just an inconvenience!0 -
This may be irrelevant, but it sounds slightly similar..
