This is why we favour Center Parcs for short breaks, even if it is a little pricey.
There you get natural free range turds, ethically supplied by the indigenous wildlife.0 -
I certainly know which place has the most delusional house sellers.0

AppleThat was basically my logic. Apple would be a lot easier to liquidate. I wouldn't want the grief of either being responsible for (a) a country, or (b) a major corporation. I'll take the cash option, thank you very much, and +$700 billion USD will do very nicely.:)
I agree. Obviously I wouldn't spend it ALL on myself. I'd give some to charity of course, a tenner for help for heroes or something, and pay off the £1 balance left on my parents' mortgage.0 -
WalesIt's an interesting thought, if you wanted to sell APPL, how much would you realistically get for it?0

WalesIf neither existed, which would you chose to create?
5 million acres of land near a densely populated country or iplods
I would go with the land which would cost less in £££ today but be worth more to humanity over the hundreds of millions of years we are likely to be here0 -

Don't sell yet, Gen. The iwatch is just about to launch at £300 a pop. The price can only go up!
The youngsters can 'live' without owning their houses [but they do go on about it]. However, a miracle is going to happen over the next 3 months and the best part of a million of them will discover that they simply cannot live without the watch.
One of the built in apps will notice when the wearer passes a house for sale. The price will be downloaded from RightMove and it will be displayed with a very loud rendition of "All I have to do is dream".0 -

Come April the media will be full of hip trend setters sleeping outside Apple stores waiting to buy their "Joe 90" watch (thank you wotsthat) just like lambs to the slaughter. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0 -
Apple.....5 million acres of land near a densely populated country or iplods....
I'll go for the iPlod. Sounds a good idea......
Little robots wearing blue helmets. Someone is trying to steal your iWatch. It automatically sends a distress signal through your iPhone to iPlod, who get into their google iCar which rushes them to the spot, using iSatnav.
They will then sit in the car, listening to their iPod while they turn to their iPad to record the crime, filling in every detail. Once a complicated algorithm has decided whether or not this is a racial crime, or whether women or children are involved, whether Social Services need to called, they will seek to arrest the miscreant and mollify the victim.
Of course they will be long gone on their iBike. But never mind, you can buy an iWatch2 with the iNsurance money....0 -
WalesHere's one I made earlier. In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0
