Buying a shed (workshop)

Hi,
I am looking at buying a shed to use as a workshop (approx 14x8). Eventually I am looking at getting a brick building (when we can afford it!) but for now I am going to make do with a shed.
I was wondering if anybody has recommendations of where to purchase a good quality shed online? I have looked at local suppliers but they tend to just have bog standard garden sheds whereas I would like something more sturdy. I have seen one on buyshedsdirect.co.uk that would suit but I have no idea if this is a reputable company.
Any advice would be welcome!

You never know the quality online. Cheapest would be to buy local and reinforce it yourself. Most important for a large shed is sturdy foundations.
Pleased with a bike shed I bought about a year ago. Tiger something. Will link in a while

You need to go to a local manufacturer not just someone who sells sheds.
A manufacturer will make you exactly what you need. To the exact dimensions you specify. As has been said, you can always add additional reinforcement if you need it.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
How much do you want to spend? Site offices and shipping containers?NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

I agree with 27col, buy from a local manufacturer, who will make exactly what you want, once you've checked-out their normal standard of work.
It won't be a cheap as an Internet shed, but there will be less chance of being ripped-off, and you can have the frame or floor as sturdy as you like.0 -

As you're storing tools a damp-proof liner will be needed. Most sheds don't provide this.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0
