Induction hob problems

Hi everyone.
I bought an induction hob about 6 years ago, and it always worked great... Until now! It developed an intermittent fault. When I turn it on, it works normally, but then starts showing up three horizontal lines, and stops heating for a while. Then those lines go away, and goes back to working normally. I took it to repair, but they told me it needed new PCB's, which would cost me over €500. I'm pretty sure it doesn't need new PCB's, as it's just a small problem, so I supposse it can be repaired... Has anyone experienced something like this? And can anyone tell me how to fix it?
Thanks!

What makes you suspect the problem to be a 'small' one and not a genuine PCB issue? We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

It has 2 PCB's, each one for 2 burners. And i'm getting that problem in all 4 burners, so I don't think both PCB's would develop the same problem at the same time. It looks more like a controller problem or something, but I don't know.0
