Having looked at new built around my area, it seems to me that you might get a much better deal by buying towards the end BUT you do have a much less desirable plot. All the best located houses are gone!
Good luck with your new house, concentrate on its positive and ignore the rest, you are so lucky to be able to get a new built, it will be great once you are finally moved in.0 -

I promise you im not being greedy. If the builders had kept to their own schedules I would be living in the house now, but im not, they are six months behind and im renting over that time as I had to sell my home to pay the 10% deposit.
So that is costing me an extra £7500 in rent over the 6 months for the delay!0
