Advice needed before final decision about central heating

I have an old (fitted in 1992) back boiler with an old front gas fire. The central heating has never seen substantial enough to heat our mid terrace 3 bedroom house.
I've been told I need a whole new system so have been doing a little homework.
Do I get rid of the back boiler and replace with a combi boiler or do I get a condensing back boiler? The pipe work needs replacing as plumber said it's very worn (original pipe work).
I've decided to have 6 new double radiators in each room in the hope that the new central heating system will be enough to actually heat the house.
Will either of these new boilers be better at heating the house than the other. Just to note I have double glazing back and front.
Thanks.

Depends entirely on their heat output (kW) and what they're hooked up to!
Whatever you get make sure it's sized appropriately. If you get a regular boiler and continue to use a hot water tank that boiler will be a lot smaller than the equivalent combi. Personally I'm not a fan of combis due to complexity and propensity to fail... But other people have different experiences.
Couple of thoughts:
- is there somewhere else you can site the boiler? (Needs to be somewhere you can run a flue and get a gas supply to, as well as either the CH Loop, or in the case of a combi, also the mains cold.
- 15kw boiler would do a 3 bed terrace - ours does.
- size the rads to the rooms, but bigger than needed. Put TRVs on all but one. But the thermostat in the room without the TRVS. Commonly hallway, place that takes longest to heat up.0
