N-power problems

Why can n-power never give me a straight answer over e-mail.

2 years ago I had a large debt on my account and I decided to have a prepayment meters put in. They started to take £5 a week of each meter until the debt was payed back.

Last year I emailed them to ask when the £5 a week re-payments would end. All I got was riddles from them. How I would always have to top up my prepayment cards. They just could not grasp what I was asking.

So last week I tried again, as I have recently had neuro surgery I really struggle with brain fog and talking coherently. So I emailed to ask if I could apply for the warm home discount as I think I am entitled with the benefits I am receiving.

I also asked if there was a tariff that would suit me better as I am at home all day and using far more gas/ electricity.

I have received a email in return full of phone numbers and how if In future I need to tell them my date of birth in order for them to email me again.

So I rang the number, it's automated which is fine, they ask for my account number, I put it in and it says we are going to retrieve your information. Then nothing just white noise. I have rang several times and the same thing happens. I am just so frustrated with it all at the moment.
