I took out car finance with Arnold clark in scotland roughly about 2007.
Pretty sure I paid PPI
Don't know who their finance company was thou
Any ideas?

Car dealers would use a number of different finance companies.
In any event you complain to the dealer who sold you the PPI not the finance company - assuming that it is what you intend to do0
