travel insurance broken camera lens covered?

Hi all
does Halifax or generally other travel insurance company cover broken camera lens in the cover ?
As mine shattered accidently abroad and still abroad but mind still thinking if I can cover for the lend or not
Please advise

Check your policy wording and see if accidental damage is covered.0

AD cover is normally included with Travel insurance but with very low limits. It also often is on an indemnity basis rather than new for old.
How much was the lens? How old? What is your excess?0
