As the threads been resurrected i may as well add something.

If the emails contain no personal information then its just random spam. they will have simple dictionary generating programs.

Pick several domains like yahoo and gmail and various others then start with a@ 1 email to each domain.
then b@, c@ etc then increment one character aa@, ab@, a1@ etc etc...

Eventually your email address will fall into that unless its super long, where you may escape random generated email software.

Ive used similar software to crack passwords and its amazing how quickly a machine can get through them. creating email addresses the same way would be faster.

Start to worry if its got your personal information in it.
