Glass painting?
Options
Hi
I am interested in finding out more about glass painting. I am not an artist by any means but would love to have a go.
Does anyone do this and if so where would be the best place to start. I don't really want to spend a lot of money incase l am rubbish at it.
Many thanks

I had a go at it - its a lovely craft. You can buy glass paints and supplies separately or you could consider a 'Kit' with enough materials to have a good go at it.
Amazon do lots of kits at reasonable prices. just had a look for you and this is the page
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_19?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=glass%20painting%20kits%20for%20adults&sprefix=glass+painting+kits%2Caps%2C395
you can also buy a kit from Hobycraft - but you wont have as much choice and they can be dearer.
You don't need to be able to draw - I used to print off designs then 'trace' over them with the outliner. really easy!
good luck and I hope you enjoy the new hobby.0 -
You can buy small kits. They are known as light catchers or just as glass painting kits. They are not too expensive if you look somewhere like e-bay.0
