My husband died last year and I want to save his pension payout for my 2 children. What is the best way of saving this money?

By keeping it in the pension if you've not already taken it out?
  • The pension company have already paid out.
  • How much are you talking?

If it's a serious amount of money you should take advice and invest over the long term as in cash it will lose value against inflation.

How much is the capital sum? It belongs wholly to you with no provision for the children?

    How old are the children?

    Do they have CTF/JISA?

Do you use your ISA allowance?
