nursemaggie, Is there anyone you could phone and talk to. It's times like this that you need to be in contact with someone so that you don't feel so alone. It must be frightening. I will be on here for a while yet so will keep popping back to make sure you are OK. xI believe that friends are quiet angels

Right this moment I do not feel safe at all. Someone keeps hammering on my door fit to knock it down. How did they get in the building and why is DS not waking up?
Go wake up DS maggie. If not call the police. Let us know you're ok'I'm sinking in the quicksand of my thought

Thanks monna. I think they have gone away.
No the only person I have available to phone is my Sarcoma nurse. I don't think this is her problem.
He is back again shouting at the person in the flat opposite who does not speak English.
I think I will call the police if he does not go away.0 -
I would certainly do that NM. Community policemen are supposed to be there for just these sorts of things.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Well I think it is all quiet now. From reading the local paper it seems it takes them 2 hours to come from Manchester at this time of night and they rarely come.
A recent incident. A man caught two burglers in his shop on a Friday night late. One of those community people who are not policemen came round 3 days later. In the mean time the man was knocked out and the robbers escaped. The man was was found buy a customer next morning. This is what happens when police numbers are cut.0 -
Glad it's gone quiet nm , if it starts again please ring the police and tell them that your alone and scared , hopefully that will make them come quicker ..£223/ £250 GC0

If they return, call the police and keep doing so until they arrive.

I agree with burtha, don't hesitate to ring the police if it happens again. You said that you didn't know how he got into the building. Perhaps tomorrow you could find out if a door that is meant to be locked was left open, and why.
