Ikea Kitchens.Worktop height?

I have installed about 40 kitchens and have always thought that 900mm was the normal finish height for the worktop. Yesterday visiting Ikea which I regularly do for various things and ideas,I had a good look through their Kitchen displays. I noticed that all the worktop heights were finished at 930-920mm.You couldn't reduce it as the cabinet doors left a very low space for the kick strips anyway. I wonder if this has caused problems for users as the extra height must be difficult to work at? A bit like desk/table etc tops being always 30" off the floor, slightly over and it's noticeable.

I don't know the answer, but as a taller bloke this is interesting - I'll certainly take a look at IKEA for my next kitchen if they are higher as I usually find worktops slightly too low!0
