And last but not least....i'll repeat...£2k too much, shop around, the price you paid? is akin to prices of 3 years agoThis is what we've been quoted, and the lads (based in the North East), will travel throughout the UK
(Based on South Facing Roof),
Design & installation of 3kw solar PV system (12 x 250w CSUN modules in portrait orientation)

Price includes scaffold, EPC and VAT.
First year benefits approximately £500 (this is made up of Feed in tariff and estimated electricity savings. The FIT is guaranteed for 20 years and rises with inflation. Your savings will increase as electricity prices rise).
Installation usually takes 1 day with minimal disruption.
£5,450
(Obviously price and returns are subject to slighty change, and a home survey may be required).
I wont mention company here, but if anyone is intrested i'd def recommend as they have done work for family and friends in the last 6 months2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -
My panels were installed by a small local company, roofer & electrician, who are friends of mine. The price was something of a 'mate's rate', but they did several installations at around that price in 2013. Low overhead & purchasing containers of panels from China makes them very competitive. All their work comes from recommendation so they don't have a salesforce to pay.Fruit_and_Nut_Case wrote: »That's a superb price for 2013.4kWp (black/black) - Sofar Inverter - SSE(141°) - 30° pitch - North LincsInstalled June 2013 - PVGIS = 3400Sofar ME3000SP Inverter & 5 x Pylontech US2000B Plus & 3 x US2000C Batteries - 19.2kWh0
