Avios single booking - only charged £9.30

Rather than £17.50.

Documentation all sent through fine and exec club added on the BA site but the documentation states the following which is weird. Anyone had this previously?

Subtotal 4,500 17.50
Booking Fee 0.00
Received 4,500 9.30
Outstanding 0 8.20

If the "taxes" for the flight are less than £17.50 they charge you the lower amount. A recent change on BAEC, the Avios.com site will still charge the £17.50.

The discounted fare usually applies out of foreign airports.

All flights out of LHR have a £30 airport fee payable by the airline so will always cost you the £17.50.

So the 'outstanding' amount of £8-20 (of the total of £17-50) is nothing to be concerned about?

Flight is Dublin to Heathrow btw

As far as I'm aware you've paid in full. There's nothing more owing.

    Headforpoints explains it better.

£9.30 is definitely the right amount for DUB-LHR. I don't know why it's listed as outstanding though - I'd assume it's just a quirk (but check the booking again before you get to the airport to make sure it's still there!).
