Old Boiler removal for a combi

Hi guys in the house im getting its got a old copper boiler i was just wondering how i can remove this safely ?
what would i need to do is it just a cake of draining the system and taking it out ?
As i understand they are copper i can take it to get some money for it to help toward a new combi boiler
Any help be great thanks guys

You will get about £35 for the cylinder. Good luck with the combi swap. I wouldn't swap without a very good reason, but each to their own. You'l be lucky to get the combi to last 20 years, whatever make you choose.0

i know what your saying all depends on cost i suppose and how good the old system is if the old system is good i may even stick with it but i was just wondering how id get it out really
