CCJ - six years has elapsed

Hi,
I regularly check my credit file using Noddle. I have a CCJ - and the judgement date was six years ago today. This CCJ is marked as 'active', as I disputed the amount owed and never made any payments towards it.
Does this CCJ still get removed from my credit file six years after the date of judgement, even if it's not been satisfied?

The CCJ should leave your report tomorrow on Experian, however Callcredit and Equifax ay take a little longr to update their records. I believe Noddle is part of Callcredit but are even further behind. It might be worth you taking up the 30 day free trials with the 3 CRAs then cancelling before so you can check if the CCJ is still there. If not then get your statutory report from all 3 for just £2.00 online.0 -
Great, thanks for your replies.
I'm also dealing with my husbands credit files, and have just found something VERY curious indeed.
I've paid £4 to see my husbands CCJs - his Noddle report is showing four CCJs, all dated almost six years ago. However, Trust Online are showing NO information on judgements at all. How can that be?0 -
all disputed ccj's? thats a lotDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Registry trust drop them from record after 6 years, so may be that, or may be that there is something a bit wrong with the search preventing the match.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

chanz4: no, only one of the CCJs was disputed, and therefore remains 'active' (despite the fact that Virgin Media reneged on a contract clause before progressing the matter to a CCJ. Regretfully, my husband was dealing with the death of his parents and loss of his job at the time, so this little matter didn't exactly take priority).
The others are all satisfied CCJs.0
